State Government is Concern on Improving the 'Cabotage Policy"

There has been a lot say on the 'Cabotage Policy' affecting the price of goods, thus said to affect the well being of Sabahan's livelihood and economy. Disgruntled oppositions claimed that the state Government didn't put any concerns on the matter. When in fact Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman actually clarified that the government was aware of the Cabotage Policy issue and the higher cost of doing business in Sabah, added that it must be addressed.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman also said, there are some parts of the policy that requires improvement as it has been repeatedly raised and discussed. 

He is also confident that the business community has studied the issue of cabotage from various perspectives. By that as well, there are some aspects of the cabotage policy which needs to be improved to help businesses in the state, he said previously.

However, this is not an easy task to be fulfilled as there have to be a lot of co-operations and agreements needed to be tied between policy makers and corporations alike. However, it does raise the hope that the matter have a possible reduction of it's negative effect in the near future, especially towards the price of goods and economy on the whole.

The Chief Minister also are opening it's doors to opinions regarding improvements in various sector which can be used to further better Sabah's administration and economy.
