The plight of the financially burden has always been the attention of the government of late. The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Friday ( 15 February) had announced two (2) initiatives to ease the needy and young people to jumstart their own business (Click HERE). These initiatives had been announced during the tabling of the 2013 Budget.
The implementation of Karisma Hati Rakyat programme has been allocated a sum of RM50 Million. This programme will be place under the Women, Family and Community development Ministry.
Facts on Karisma Hati Rakyat programme:
- Total recipients: 200,000 individual.
- one- off payment: RM200 for those in the Peninsular; RM300 for those in Sabah and Sarawak.
- Vouchers will be provided to the eligible. This includes those in need of schooling aid, groceries and special needs, e.g: wheelchair.
- The voucher MUST be redeemed before 31 March.
