Soaring support of Chinese Sabahans for Barisan Nasional

With more than 1,000 people attended the  Chap Goh Mei event in Old Putatan Town event organised by the Petagas People Leader's Development Unit, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin expressed his confidence that Chinese Sabahans will support the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the coming general election.


He firmly believes that the Chinese communities, including those in Putatan, will continue to give BN the mandate to govern the State and country. This confidence has came to manifestation as the result of the transformation programme executed by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak which has brought benefits to the people, including the Chinese. This notion was long mentioned by The Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is confident that Sabah will continue to prosper under the present leadership. Its newly elected President, Michael Lui Yen Sang said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Hj Aman was a capable and effective leader of the state: Citing his (Musa)  entrepreneurial qualities due o his business background. Playing his part, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman wants Bumiputera entrepreneurs to create smart partnerships with the Chinese community to improve the development of Sabah. HE noted that the smart partnership could establish a harmonious environment, besides improving the development of the state in line with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s inspiration of 1Malaysia. He said Sabah is a role model of the 1Malaysia concept due to the close cooperation between all communities, including the Bumiputera and Chinese communities. (Click HERE to read more).
