Looking back in Sabah, the State Government under the charge of the caretaker Chief Minister has reached many achievements that has made Sabah stand out among the 13 States and Federal Territory  that made up Malaysia.

In an article published in The Borneo Post Online (Click HERE),  Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal was spot on when he said that  it is important to have a strong government to ensure strong economic growth for the country.

This gave a heavy emphasis that The Barisan Nasional coalition is to be given the mandate this May 5. Just after a gathering to officiate the Kanowit Indoor Stadium in Sarawak on Monday ( 30 April 2013), Shafie was noted saying that “No investors would want to invest in a country that has a weak economy … no tourists want to come and this will create unstable conditions in the country ” .

Shafie added that what was revealed in BN’s manifesto, there will be many initiatives to further develop the nation.

Even though his speech was addressed to our neighbour in the Land of The Hornbill (Sarawak), We as Sabahan should take note as well that we ought to vote for development and security and for the BN to ensure a better future.
