KOTA KINABALU: State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Hajiji Mohd Noor said franchising represents a platform that is suitable for business expansion, thus creating a Bumiputera trade and industrial community that is resilient.
He said this is because the
implementation of the franchise system required mutual trust and
collective responsibillities especially between the franchisor and
franchisee.
“Without the drive and willingness to work in a
business chain like a franchise system, one may not succeed and both
parties may suffer losses,” he said in his opening address at the Sabah
Franchise SME showcase 2013 at 1Borneo, Likas near here yesterday.
