"Nadi Kasih" for the People

The township of Tuaran had witness the launching of the "Nadi Kasih Programme" in Sabah. A sea of people with the estimate of 10,000 strong had come in attendance to the  launching, expressing their admiration, love and support for the Prime Minister. 



The brainchild of  Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, "Nadi Kasih Programme"  has been incorporated into 1Malaysia Development Berhad Foundation (1MDB) as one of their Corporate Social Responsibility; a community welfare programme which had repair approximately 23,000 houses nationwide with the allocation of RM115,730,000 since it's inception in 2011. 

“The Nadi Kasih Programme is one of the many programmes initiated by our Prime Minister for the people. He is constantly thinking up ways of providing  help to the people,” -Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman, Insight Sabah


Under this programme, Sabah will receive RM26 million for house repairs in 26 constituencies under the program; 200 houses in each parliamentary constituency in the state with the allocation of RM 5,000 per household. A total of RM13 million have been utilized within Sabah under this programme in Semporna, Penampang, Kota Marudu and Kimanis areas. 


The event too saw the groundbreaking ceremony of a road upgrading project leading to Kampung Topokon and Kampung Wangkod Gontung in Tamparuli  officiated by the Prime Minister . This project stretches across 12 kilometres and costing RM32.5 million.
