KOTA KINABALU: The first phase of the GTP (Government Transformational Program)  has benefitted the state of Sabah since the start of its implementation.

The state continues to receive close attention, funding and policy support from the Federal Government according to its Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

He further shared his confidence that the support will continually be received from the Federal Government especially with the National Budget coming around the corner.

Sabah has already made its mark in the national economy as a consistent contributor and the continued assistance will assist in bringing the state to the same par as the rest of the nation.

Phase 1 of the GTP has impacted Sabah significantly, especially in the rural areas where hundreds of kilometers of roads had been built.

In view of this, the Chief Minister urged Shareda (Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association) to step up efforts in facilitating the development of affordable homes that will provide people from the lower income group the opportunity to own houses.
