Sabah fortunate to have Musa as CM

KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah is fortunate to have a Chief Minister who is far-sighted and visionary.

A Sabah Umno delegate to the Umno General Assembly Bahrul Razha Haji Chuprat said in his speech yesterday that Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman was also every efficient in managing state finances.

And, he added that under Musa’s leadership, Sabah enjoyed strong economic growth and political stability.

“And just recently, he presented a whopping State Budget of RM4.088 billion for 2013,” he said.

Sabah, he added, has also attracted many investors and as of June this year, 24 firms have confirmed investing some RM4.86 billion.

These investments, he said, would create plenty of job opportunities.

Bahrul also said Sabah Umno youth would continue to support the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the Chief Minister to bring the country and state to greater heights.

He also called on members of the movement to work hard to ensure a thumping victory for Barisan Nasional at the coming general election.

“We are ready to face the election,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bahrul expressed confidence that Sabah would remain a “fixed deposit” of BN based on Musa’s strong leadership and the support from all component parties.

The opposition, he said, was only good at making promises which they could not fulfil.
