KOTA KINABALU: Sabah's economy continued to strengthen
despite challenges including global economic slowdown, said Chief

and domestic investments had boosted the state''s economy and helped to
support the government''s holistic development strategies and
programmes.
"The government is committed in managing state funds and resources prudently.
"The acknowledgement by the Auditor General on the state government''s excellence in economic and financial management will spur us towards further distinction," he said at the state banquet in conjunction with Yang DiPertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin''s 59th birthday here.
He said with full support from all parties at all levels including leaders, the public and private sector and the population, the state government would be able to, with the grace of Allah, accomplish the mandate of the people with full sincerity, accountability and responsibility.
