KOTA KINABALU: Mah Sing Group Berhad expressed its strong interest in investing and participating in more projects in Sabah.
The
company’s executive director, Lim Kiu Hock and the director general of
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (Department of Overseas
Business – Asia Pacific), Wang Hui, paid a courtesy call on Chief
Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman at Sri Gaya here on Tuesday.
Lim
said Mah Sing would like to expand its presence in Sabah as it is very
attractive due to the vibrancy of the economy which has benefited from
the wealth of natural resources, including palm oil, timber and oil and
gas, strong tourism and services industry as well as stable and
pro-business government.
“With 18 years of property development
experience, we have a strong track record and understanding of the local
market,” added Lim.
Mah Sing Group Berhad has 39 projects in
Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, Penang, Johor and Sabah which yields a gross
development value and unbilled sales of RM18 billion. It is Malaysia’s
second biggest listed property developer by sales value.
