Sabah is very much in time in terms of timeline in developing the state, particularly
the five important development sectors, says State Industrial Development Minister
Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah.

“The focus now is to find the locations where we’ve developed the five sectors and promote investments in the economic corridor,” he told reporters after a
luncheon talk for senior state and federal officers and chief executive officers in
the government-linked companies.
Tan said the government’s commitment to achieve the SDC blueprint objectives was clearly evident from the increasing number of investments secured so far, alluding to

I hope the people of Sabah realize the efforts taken by Government to develop Sabah.
ReplyDeleteI also hope that the poverty eradication program is continuing....
ReplyDeleteNothing is impossible as long as it it under MA's administration.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good sign to hear that Sabah is on schedule in developing the state.
ReplyDeleteHoping that all plan always on schedule. Delaying any plan will effect the State image.
ReplyDeleteSabah chalked up 5.7 billion ringgit ($1.7 billion) of investments last year, four times more than in 2008 despite a global recession. This is almost a fifth of the 32.6 billion ringgit of investments that Malaysia received, putting the east Malaysian state in the foreign investors' spotlight.
ReplyDeleteSunBear Solar company, an American-led consortium which includes investors from Finland, Italy and Germany, has already received approval from the Sabah government to build a 5.3-billion ringgit ($1.6 billion) factory to make glass solar panels using silica sand from Balambangan island lying north of Kudat, Sabah’s northern-most coastal town.
ReplyDeleteThis is the largest plant in Malaysia at the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) that would produce 2,800 tonnes of float glass a day and give Sabahans 10,000 jobs. Construction is expected mid year.
Datuk Raymond Tan is excited over the future of KKIP which has since generated 1.7 billion ringgit of investments from 206 factories providing slightly more than 6,000 jobs.
Sabah is growing...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Petronas will contribute more in oil and gas project.
ReplyDeleteits a good news indeed..
ReplyDelete“The focus now is to find the locations where we’ve developed the five sectors and promote investments in the economic corridor,”
ReplyDeleteGood luck to SDC project plan.
ReplyDeleteSabah harus mengikuti perkembangan yang lebih teratur.
ReplyDeleteHope Sabah really right on track.
ReplyDeleteMusa contribute great economy growth to Sabah.
ReplyDeleteSabah memang membangun pun. Cuma pembangunan itu harus dilipatgandakan. hehe
ReplyDeleteSaya menyokong penuh segala usaha yang dilakukan demi tujuan pembangunan asalkan tak memudaratkan mana2 pihak:)
ReplyDeleteSaya yakin ramai yang gembira dengar berita ni. Semoga semuanya berjalan lancar.
ReplyDeleteKepada Musa Aman, all the best and please keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteindeed sabah is on schedule in development. Its just a matter of time.
ReplyDeleteEver since MA took over the position as the CM of sabah, we can see a lot of improvement in sabah.
ReplyDeleteBut of course we can't deny that MA still need to work on in getting sabah out of poverty.
ReplyDeletehopefully there be more improvement to come. May 2012 be a good year for sabah.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work MA.
