KOTA KINABALU, May 3 (Bernama) -- The Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) today made a payment of RM40 million in gross dividend and government loan interest to the Sabah state government.
Of the amount, RM25 million was dividend payments and RM15 million was government loan interest repayment, said SCC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Vincent Pung.

"This is the 10th dividend payment from SCC to the state government since 2002 and with this, SCC has paid a total of RM132.4 million in dividends to the state government," he said during Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman's visit to SCC here.

The state government has given the greenlight to SCC to increase its contribution towards
ReplyDeletetheir corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to 10 per cent from the current five per cent.
"Hope with this increment, SCC can assist the people better, especially in the rural areas by providing them with the opportunities through provision of many basic amenities and infrastructures to assist them in their social economic development and to some, providing them the avenue to move away from the circle of poverty."-Musa Aman
